A new study presented at the 82nd Veterinary Association of Zambia AGM and Scientific Conference, showcases the vital role veterinarians play in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of pangolins rescued from the illegal wildlife trade. The study emphasises the importance of specialised veterinary care, stronger collaboration in wildlife conservation, and ongoing efforts by WCP Zambia and the Department of National Parks and Wildlife to protect one of the world’s most trafficked mammals.
